Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Recipe for Homemade Cranberry Sauce by Sarah Price

With Thanksgiving coming up in just a few short days, I thought I’d share one of my favorite dishes to make.

Homemade Cranberry Sauce

I prefer to use fresh cranberries as opposed to frozen ones. The recipe is simple and there’s something so delicious about freshly made cranberry sauce.

And it’s easy.

Put one bag of fresh cranberries in a small pot and add one cup of sugar. I add about two tablespoons of water and cook over medium heat, occasionally stirring. Cook until the cranberries pop and then remove from head. You can add more sugar to taste. Otherwise put it in a pretty serving bowl and let stand in the refrigerator for a short while.

Simple right?
