Broccoli Cheese Soup recipe

Recipe: Broccoli Cheese Soup by J.E.B. Spredemann

BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP

INGREDIENTS:

¾ c. onion (chopped)
3 Tbsp. margarine
6 c. water
6 cubes chicken bouillon
1 8oz. pkg. fine noodles
1 tsp. salt
6 c. broccoli (frozen)
¼ tsp. garlic powder
6 c. milk
1 lb. Velveeta cheese

DIRECTIONS:

Saute` onion in margarine. Add water and bouillon cubes and dissolve. Bring to a boil, add noodles and salt, and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in broccoli and garlic powder. Cook 4-5 minutes. Add milk and Velveeta cheese. Heat and stir until cheese is melted. Makes a large amount.
