Review of Secrets of Willow Springs

J.E.B. Spredemann’s Review of Secrets of Willow Springs

Readers of Amish fiction will love Tracy’s debut book. The plot is woven in such a way that you are pulled into the story from the first page. To my delight, there are no boring parts and the book does not lag. I’m typically a slow reader, but I finished the book in two days because I had to find out what happens next. Intriguing plot with twists and turns, this is one story you won’t be able to put down! This definitely will not be my last Tracy Fredrychowski book. Looking forward to book two in this series. It can’t come quickly enough!

  1. I so enjoy reading anything about the Amish community and would enjoy reading a new book. I sat still while I read what you posted for us. Being raised by loving Grandparents we led a simple life. He worked at a meat cutter for many years. She stayed home and raised me. I enjoyed setting in her lap that filled her rocking chair and asked her to “itch” my back”. She would scratch it till the “itching” stopped. I miss that simple life and today we do not have a busy life. You seem to miss so much of what God wants to share each day and night. Life is a cycle blessed by God and it is He who orders our steps. Without God as the center of my now adult life it would be filled with to many busy things that I really don’t want or need. Family and friends are always a part of my life and at best some have already left for a better place. Thanks for sharing your book. Looking forward to reading the rest of it.
