Amish Apple Cake by Patricia Davids

Patricia Davids here again. This time I want to share a sweet recipe with you, Amish Apple Cake. Uses fresh apples, simple to make and perfect for any summer family get together. Happy cooking!

Amish Apple Cake

2 cups apple (thinly sliced for pie)
1 cup flour
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
¾ cup nuts
1 egg
½ cup vegetable oil

Directions:

Put all ingredients in above order together in a large bowl. Mix well with a spoon. Bake in an 8x8x1½ cake pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with cream or a cream cheese frosting.
